| Customer Reviews: Super Cycling Shoe August 30, 2010 J. Taylor (Franklin, TN) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am new at road biking and tried this shoe on at a local retail store first. Mainly I did this for sizing. The 40.0 European size is true to an American woman's size 8 shoe. It is very comfortable and the cleats (which you order separately depending on the pedals you have) are easy to install on it. I would buy this shoe again and the only recommendation I would make to Shimano is to make it in black. The white shoe is very feminine and sometimes a girl needs to look tougher by wearing black! Also the price from this online retailer can't be beat! And the shipping was fast!
Good shoes but I think I bought them too small April 15, 2010 English Teacher (Los Angeles, CA) 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
I'm new to spinning and thought I'd invest in some shoes. I tried on three different sizes and finally settled on what was the US equivalent to a 6.5. In the store they seemed snug but not too tight. During the class my toes seemed a little numb. I hope that goes away with time. (I was told they have some give in the width.)
I was disappointed that they're not leather, but all synthetic material. There is a hole in the bottom for ventilation.
Sales clerk told me they'd last 5-6 years for indoor cycling. The price seems high but if they're going to last then it's worth it. I don't know how they compare to other cycling shoes since this is my first pair.
