I am so pleased with my Topeak Ace floor pump!!! I have 2 Trikkes, a T12 and a T78 Deluxe and I have been through 3 different kinds of pumps all of which were not nearly as easy to use as my Topeak Joe Blow Ace. First, I had a cheap Bell I purchased from Wal Mart. That was a joke! Next, was a 100psi pump that plugged into my cigarette lighter. It worked fine but it ruined the electrical system in my Durango! Third , I bought a $100, 3 gallon 120V compressor rated to 100 lbs./psi, It wouldn't pump my tires above 80 psi. I wanted 100psi. Then I decided to buy the Topeak Joe Blow Ace. WOW!! So easy to put tires to 110psi. Since I was just topping them off, 2 or 3 easy pumps is all it took on the 3rd stage setting(200psi).It doesn't matter what your pressure is at, you can use the last stage to pump high pressure with great ease. I love it! The only thing that is a little confusing is the way the smart head feature locks on. If you don't read the instruction that comes with it, it won't work right. What it is is the way you put the lever is backwards on this pump. Most pumps, the lever is pushed down to lock onto the valve and pulled up to let go. Not here. It's pull up to lock, and push lever down to release. If you don't do it right, the smart head will leak air and/or pop off when pressure builds up. I believe that's where alot of people mess up with these pumps. They don't bother to find out how it actually works before giving up and submitting a poor rating. This is a well made pump that will last years and is completely rebuild-able if need be. Replacement parts are easy to get.Buy with confidence. Take my advice, don't skimp on the purchase of your floor pump. Go with a quality pump. No cheap plastic parts here, there's a pin that depresses the valve it's made of metal, even the button that lets out pressure is made of metal- not plastic.Did I mention how easy it is to pump 100-115 psi??? Buy this pump!! : )
