4 out of 5 stars Good deal   July 5, 2010

I was looking for a trailer/stroller for weekend outings. I am not a serious jogger or biker so I did not want to pay too much. I have found this to be a great purchase for the value. It is a great stroller for uneven terrain, wonderful for the beach, and a very functional bike trailer.
The drawbacks are that the baby is in full sun so you will have to purchase a clip on umbrella and there is no cup holder and I can not find any that would fit this stroller.
In all we are happy with the product as a stroller and bike trailer and would recommend it.

3 out of 5 stars Bought REGULAR got ELITE!???   June 13, 2010

I bought the REGULAR and got the ELITE!!!! can u believe it!????

BOUGHT REGULAR... Aosom 2in1 Double Baby Bicycle Bike Trailer and Stroller
BUT
I THINK I GOT THE ELITE ONE... Aosom Elite 2in1 Double Baby Bicycle Bike Trailer and Stroller

The only ONE review about the Elite in amazon, talks better about the Regular 2in1 (which I ordered but didn't get!!).

Some questions I have are... can the elite one be folded? Anybody knows? PLEASE SHOW ME HOW TO DO IT!!! Can you fold the REGULAR one without taking off the bar?
In addition... In the regular one, when converting from stroller to trailer, the brake's cable is attached to the bar, so you have to take the bar off, but I believe that in the Elite version (i did not try yet) when converting from stroller to trailer you can keep the bar on, because the brakes are in the rear wheels so i think you just have to take off the front wheel and keep the bar, what do u think??

So after seeing hundred of reviews, comments and videos from different websites my conclusion is...THAT I AM CONFUSED! because I got the cover of the Regular 2in 1 because it does not come with "lights" in the front of the cover as in the Elite version. BUT I got the worse part from the Elite model... the way to assemble the brakes (AWFUL) VS the way that the brakes are in the basic model (which I ordered)... in which they come with just one cable attached between the front wheel and the break on the bar!!

Another one - and this is my fault - ... I assembled it in the living room, and when I tried to go outside i did not have any chance to get it out of my house!!! even through the principal door!!

So far, my 3 star rating is only because of having received the wrong item and because of the BRAKES (AWFUL), though I haven't used it yet but i din't try it yet, so my rating might still change when I start using it.

PLEASE, IF ANYBODY KNOWS FOLD THIS "AWESOME" 2 IN 1 "DOUBLE/ELITE" TRAILER PLEASE DON'T FORGET... SHOW ME HOW!!!!!

1 out of 5 stars Poorly built knock-off   June 3, 2010

This trailer looks like it should function, but doesn't. It is a cheap knock-off. Looks good in photos, but functionally retarded. I found a lot of bothersome things:
1. Harnesses for kids are not adjustable at shoulder height, so smaller kids have the strap coming down beside their ears, not at their shoulders. The height line seems to make no sense, my three year old is maxed out, and he's not even a tall kid for his age.
2. The trailer tilts forward, so unless you have a kick stand, the kids are hanging on the harness when you get off your bike.
3. The trailer is not balanced, so when kids get in, it wobbles and goes forward. Also in jog mode it falls backward ~ full safety concern. Can't even check on the kids without worrying they're going to pitch back.
4. The jogger wheel is cheesy. Ours never even tracked straight.
5. Too much work to travel with it. It takes 5 cotter pins to fold up ~ about 10 minutes each time you fold it up or get it together. Something in the folding design actually poked a hole in the pocket fabric the first time we folded it up!
I want my money back!

4 out of 5 stars Invaginate and calash the mental pins   May 14, 2010

This product was a little wider then I expected it, as I normally do my put-together products on the kitchen floor, and it wasn't able to fit though the back door once I finished it. It also would have been nice if the instruction booklet made more sense instead of being a joke; but you have to admit when the thing tells you to "calash" screws, "invaginate" the wheels, and insert the "mental pins" is an interesting use of English. Eventually telling you to just "follow the pictures" as though it gave up on itself is also comical. The product, also, had some broken pieces upon delivery. Some of the needed parts that holds on the wheel guards were broke, and I had to try and find makeshift parts. It also does not help that when I overturned the box, so to speak, that about 9 or 10 screws, nuts, and bolts fell out of the box. They were not packaged, and have to suspect they fell off the product itself. It doesn't make me feel safe knowing that the thing doesn't have to be put together to start falling apart.

Perhaps I wasn't "invagnating" properly.

I also bought some black duct tape, as before I bought this product I have read some reviews that one of the wheels tends to have a sharp edge. I was fortunate not to have this problem, but I might have to supply the cubby hole in the back with the duct tape anyway just to cover the broken parts if I am ever on the trails.

Although I do admit that the trailer looks great, I do hope it is good enough to safely transport my daughter... I will always think of those "mental" parts falling of every time I ride my bike with her.

3 out of 5 stars Would be good, but our frame was welded on CROOKED   May 12, 2010

The construction on this looks like it is fairly good, especially for the price. My wife was able to put most of it together by herself, but couldn't figure out why the wheels rubbed the frame. One wheel rubbed the frame in the front, the other in the back. When I tipped the trailer onto its back, it became clear that the side beams are not at all perpendicular to the front and rear beams. The side beams are parallel to each other, but the whole frame is far from square. I hope we are the only ones with this problem. I worry about a company that allows major errors like this to be sent out its doors.

As for the instruction manual, I am fluent in German. I found the German much easier to understand than their very poor English. I almost had to grab a big red pen and mark out all of the errors and poor translations. As of today, the company is sending my a new frame that has been welded together correctly. They are providing me with a pre-paid shipping label to return our defective frame.
