VERY Pleased! August 24, 2010 Jordan Jensen 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I looked and studied and reviewed ALOT of strollers and kept coming back to this one, for the price-it's amazing, it has everything I could ask for! The only thing it doesn't have is a hand brake, but my sister owns a BOB and she doesn't have one either, she said she never needs one. I am so thrilled with my new stroller. The sun shade moves all the way forward so if the sun is in the way it will shade their eyes. love it!
Awesome Double Jogger! August 14, 2010 Daniel 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got the Schwinn turismo today and of course took it for a test jog. It was easy to put together but my husband needed to put the screws in the plastic foot rest. I couldn't do it. The parent tray either. I love the double shades. I love that I can change it from swivel mode to straight for jogging with out bending over.
I had a double baby jogger city series and I think I love this one more! Didn't think that would be possible. I don't have the baby jogger because I sold it after thinking I wasn't going to have anymore children. The fold of the stroller is not as easy and manuevering is not as refined as baby jogger. It also doesn't have lifetime garantee like baby jogger just 5 years.
The quality however I find is really suprisingly good! The price is fantastic, I got mine for $229 no shipping no tax. When I was purchasing I also looked at the instep safari grand that most people have reviewed it looks very similar to this one but it only comes with one year warranty. That's why I chose this one because I know I will have this stroller for at least 2 more years. I don't want to have to pay more money if something breaks.
more things I love: spoke tires I think they look cool, the color royal blue is probably my favorite color, parent and kid trays.
I made the right decision buying this stroller and so will you! Highly recommend.
Great stroller...with a few flaws July 29, 2010 StephanieL After reading nearly 100 reviews about a variety of strollers on all sorts of websites I finally decided on this one. I bought this stroller because I love to walk and run and I love to bring my children with me. I have a 21/2 year old and a 3 week old...so I needed a stroller that works with both kids. I received the stroller yesterday and luckily it was easy to put together. We also went on our first walk. I truly love that the stroller is super light, totally balanced (regardless of the difference in weight), easy to turn, and great on all sorts of terrain. Plus, there is ample storage, super comfy seats, great visors for the kids, and is easily foldable. There are only a few flaws...the trays for the kids are so far away from their seats that my 2 year old can barely reach her cup. Also, the tray is only a cup holder (there is no room for a snack container). My older child's feet hang out of the seat and because there is no space for feet, one leg is dangling while the other sits on the roof of the wheel. Although it is easy to close, it is SUPER heavy!! It isn't something I can just put in and pull out of my trunk with ease. Also, it only folds in half so it takes up the enitre trunk space of my Honda CRV. Other than those downfalls I am really happy and can't wait to take another walk today.
Schwinn Turismo July 26, 2010 momoftwo This is a decent double jogger for the money. It is half what most others cost. Pros: One of the few with storage and cup holders for both parents and children, the seating is ample enough for the average size child, toddler and younger. It is easy to put together, the wheels come on and off very simply for easy storage in my small SUV, but for the price, I still think it could come with an all weather cover. CONS: The swivel wheel has a serious vibration issue when crossing streets, or on uneven surfaces. However, if you lock the wheel, it does not have this problem.

I guess it's a fairly new product since I can't seem to find any reviews for it anywhere. We have a 2 year old and a 2 month old, and wanted a stroller for every day walks and occasional trips. We don't expect to do much jogging (read almost none) but wanted the larger bicycle type wheels for a softer ride. We've had this about a week now and are very pleased with it. Some points they don't mention in the description-
-The handlebar height is adjustable
-the front wheel can be locked and unlocked remotely from a button and trigger gimmick located just in front of the handlebar (yeah for you joggers!)
-it comes with speakers (placed in mesh pockets in the sun shades) that you can connect to an mp3 player
-The seat belts can be adjusted to 3 different heights
-parents also get two cup holders (with rubber inserts, no less, to keep your drink from spilling!) and a small caddy to hold keys/ cell phone/ mp3 player etc.
The seat backs recline individually and are adjusted by tightening/loosening a belt, but the way they're adjusted is much easier that some others I've seen.
The seat backs are about 17"- 18" tall, unlike some 12-13" ones I've seen.
The seats are reclined back a bit even in the most 'upright' setting but if you want your kid to to be able to look out and front more easily, you can use the seat insert to prop his/her head.
It's very easy to maneuver and seems to have a really soft ride (the kids bottoms will thank you :) )
The size and weight are the only gripes I have about this stroller. It's fairly heavy and very large (even though the rear wheels can be snapped off) when folded (takes up 3/4 of the space in my mid size SUV). It should fit into the trunk of a standard car but you wouldn't have room for too much else.
Considering what you pay for it - it's a great buy.
